Our company

More than 30 years ago, Gremper started out as a small backyard print shop. Today, it is one of Switzerland’s leading printing companies, employing around 40 people in Basel. Gremper stands for high-quality, sustainable and bespoke print solutions – family-run, with a fully engaged, proactive team.

Tradition meets innovation

In 1991, Karl Gremper joined the company Offsetdruck Gert Emminger in Basel – driven by his passion for good design and high-quality printing. This led to the founding of Gremper AG in 1997.

Since then, the company has grown steadily – thanks to bold investments, a keen sense of what customers need and a genuine love of the craft. To this day, the team continues to impress with creative solutions and uncompromising quality.

Around 40 employees at Gremper AG use their expertise to bring our motto, “The fine art of printing” to life every day.

Innovation has a long tradition at Gremper. Since the production site moved to Pratteln in 2008, numerous additional work steps have been brought in-house. Our in-house offering has been growing ever since – from mailing services through to finishing and further processing. This ensures control over quality and gives us great flexibility in scheduling.

In 2021, Cilgia Gremper took over as Managing Director and has been successfully leading the family business in its second generation. Together with the team, she celebrates the joy of craftsmanship that can be felt in every Gremper print product.
