35 Years of Passion and Vision

His journey began in Basel, where Karl Gremper completed his apprenticeship as a typesetter – a profession that combines precision, a strong sense of design and craftsmanship. Early on, he took on responsibility and continued to expand his skills.

But at some point it became clear: he didn’t just want to be part of a company. He wanted to shape it.

After several management roles in Basel and in the Engadin, Karl Gremper joined Offsetdruck Gert Emminger in Basel as a partner in February 1991. At that time the company was still located in the heart of the city on Kasernenstrasse – with a small, dedicated and highly skilled team.

What sets Karl apart is his exceptional instinct for customer needs, market developments and opportunities that others might not yet see. With this forward-looking mindset and the courage to invest, the company continued to grow and evolve. In 1997, Gremper AG was founded.

Today, production is based in the former Bombardier hall in Pratteln. Around 40 employees – including apprentices in three professions – work here to bring demanding print projects to life. The company offers an exceptionally broad in-house portfolio and places strong emphasis on services before and after printing.

The ambition has remained the same over all these years: to be better, more flexible and above all smarter than others. With a passion for paper, colour and craftsmanship.
With the determination to make the seemingly impossible possible. And with the constant pursuit of the subtle difference.
