Silver for “Foto Jeck Basel”

A world of images – the hardcover publication with a two-tone cover.
The award-winning photo book Foto Jeck Basel celebrates one of Switzerland’s most important photography dynasties. We had the pleasure of producing the publication – a project that means a lot to us as a Basel-based print company.

The publication Foto Jeck Basel received the Silver Medal of the German Photo Book Award 25|26 in the category Photo Book/Monograph – and we are truly delighted to have been part of this special project.

The book explores the Jeck photography dynasty, whose archive is considered one of the most significant Swiss photography collections of the 20th century: around 400,000 negatives, slides and prints, many of them published here for the first time. The large-format image sequences showcase iconic moments from sport, everyday life and work – offering a vivid glimpse into an era documented by the Jecks over more than eight decades. The volume is completed by personal notes from the photographers and seven essays by renowned authors, placing the Jeck archive in a wider historical context.

A big thank you to the publisher, the designers and everyone involved in the project. A beautiful example of how print brings history to life – and why thoughtfully crafted photo books continue to fascinate today.
