When a Campaign Becomes an Experience
For the "Tell your friends" campaign, MONA UND MATEO developed a concept inviting visitors to explore Basel in a personal way and share their discoveries with others.
At the heart of the campaign were 49 individual poster designs displayed throughout the city, drawing attention to attractions, events and unique experiences. To extend this idea, a leporello was created that translated the campaign concept into a printed format.
The various highlights were presented as detachable info cards. Visitors could tear out interesting places, event tips or personal favourites, keep them handy while exploring the city or pass them on to friends. The leporello therefore served not only as an information piece but became an active part of the campaign itself.
The leporello was produced using offset printing with fluorescent ink. Numerous perforations allowed the individual cards to be detached easily and cleanly. The combination of design, printing and finishing demonstrates how print can do more than communicate information – it can make it more accessible, engaging and memorable.
